Lorenz Refuses To Condemn Luigi Mangione

Disgraced Leftist Reporter Gets Put on Blast

Disgraced leftist reporter Taylor Lorenz is once again making abhorrent comments while refusing to condemn alleged assassin Luigi Mangione, who allegedly shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in the back.

Lorenz is a former Washington Post and New York Times tech reporter who has faced backlash for numerous statements containing veiled support for Mangione and vigilante violence. Her latest shocking comments came during an appearance on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, where she repeatedly dodged his questions about Mangione and hinted that insurance companies denying coverage was equally as “violent” as the assassination.

The discussion began when Hannity highlighted Lorenz’s interview with CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan earlier this month, where she laughed about people being fans of Mangione and stated that he was seen as a “revolutionary, who’s famous, who’s handsome, who’s young, who’s smart. He’s a person who seems like he’s this morally good man, which is hard to find.”

Lorenz attempted to explain her comments to Hannity, claiming that they were taken out of context.

“What I’m describing, and if you watch the full segment, not just the clip, you’ll see that I’m just describing the mentality of these fangirls [who] show up outside Luigi’s court and show up outside his jail cell. Those girls are not me, OK? We have very separate belief systems. But I was describing how they believe,” she claimed.

However, when Hannity pressed her multiple times to condemn Mangione’s alleged actions and other calls for assassinations, Lorenz repeatedly deflected — even joking at one point about Hamas, which is another subject she has faced backlash for, as she has stated in the past that the “US and Israel are two of the most evil, evil countries on earth.”

“Gosh, you’re gonna ask if I condemn Hamas next. This is insane!” she told Hannity while laughing.

Hannity continued to press her on the issue several times, but Lorenz refused to provide an answer — which is an answer itself, as it should not be hard to condemn assassinations.

“You want to talk about the assassination of innocent people? I believe that the tens of thousands of Americans [who] die each year because of the lack of health insurance. That is, to me, a violence in itself. That is assassination,” she falsely claimed.

However, Lorenz wasn’t done making unhinged comments, as her response to Hannity’s last attempt was equally shocking and dismissive. Hannity asked whether people cheering on the death of another human being — a man who was a husband and a father — lacked “a soul, a conscience, and a heart.”

“Well, what I will say, Sean, once again, is that I believe in free speech. I don’t believe in things like, you know, religious things like souls and all of these things,” Lorenz said dismissively.
