The Supreme Court smacked liberals right in the face with a recent ruling.
In a 6-3 vote, a Massachusetts gun control law was struck down.
The law had placed overzealous restrictions on gun ownership.

Chief Justice Roberts remembered that nuisance called the Constitution and held the line this time.
The case, Morin v. Lyver, was challenging state gun laws that required a license to purchase a weapon as well as banning those with non-violent misdemeanors from being able to buy a gun.
The court struck down a ruling in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and sent the ruling back to the First Circuit for “further consideration” based on the New York State Rifle & Pistol Assn., Inc. v. Bruen.
Justice Thomas penned the majority in that ruling, stating, “The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not ‘a second-class right, subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees.’
“We know of no other constitutional right that an individual may exercise only after demonstrating to government officers some special need.”
The ruling was unsigned and there were no dissenting opinions.
However, as noted above, it is a fairly safe assumption this vote fell right along ideological lines.
