Of all people, CNN’s Jake Tapper seems to have had his “Come to Jesus” moment regarding Joe Biden.
He has slowly been coming around to the fact that Biden is not all we were being led to believe.
But now he seems to be coming around regarding Hutner Biden’s influence peddling.
It Really Happened
I don’t care if it is illegal or not, influence peddling is disgraceful (and it should be illegal).
Even if Hunter Biden was only selling the perception of access (and that is a BIG IF), it should not be permitted.
Tapper hit that subject during a recent segment.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), who was on CNN at the time, stated, “We know that he was on the phone one time or he had dinner one time and what Republicans have done is say, see, there’s the evidence, he was in the room, he was at dinner, he was on the phone, he spoke to his son.
“But there has been no evidence at all, zero.”
First, to say there is no evidence is a complete and utter joke.
Second, it was more than once, and this clown knows it.
Tapper responded, “So, let me posit that, for the sake of argument, that you are correct in what you’re saying.
“Does Joe Biden not bear any responsibility for the fact that his brothers and his son have been making millions of dollars, profiting off their relationship to him, being lobbyists and advisers and this and that because of him?
“Is that not — I understand people in this town do that and their relatives do it, but he’s been letting them do it.”
If you have ever seen “The Distinguished Gentleman,” that is what our political system has become.
It is not people there to represent We the People.
It is grifters looking to cash in.
