Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich created quite the buzz.
Gingrich was discussing some of the issues with Joe Biden.
He also noted who he thinks is calling the shots, and the internet just about blew up.
It’s Obama
Gingrich made a great point that also provided a bit of a history lesson.
Some ears went up when Obama took a house in DC, as this is just not the norm for a former president.
They usually return home and stay about as far away from DC as possible, but Obama bought a house spitting distance from the White House.
Gingrich stated, “My personal guess is that the driving force behind the Biden administration is Barack Obama.
“Obama is the only president since Woodrow Wilson to stay in Washington.
“So, the fact that Obama’s here all the time, and the fact that his staff permeates, literally permeates, the Biden administration, and Obama is really, really smart.
“Whatever Biden’s problems are at being kind of slow and cognitively decaying, Obama doesn’t have any of those problems.”
Now, I have often raised questions about the fact there are so many former Obama staffers on Biden’s team.
I have also stated that I do not believe that Joe Biden is calling all the shots.
Clearly, Jill Biden has some significant influence on policy.
But let’s not forget, when Obama was president, he once stated that if he could run the country from home and not be the actual face, he would love to have a third term.
Perhaps that is what is actually happening right now.
