Joe Biden took one on the chin with a recent Supreme Court decision.
The court has ruled that Biden’s student loan handout program was illegal and cannot go forward.
Biden had a meltdown after the decision was handed down when challenged by the media for putting the program in place in the first place.
Misleading
Joe Biden knew that the student loan program was unconstitutional from the outset.
He said as much during several press conferences.
However, he also stated that he thought his team had created a workaround that would allow the program to stay in place.
That, however, was wishful thinking, and Biden knew it.
This was about getting younger voters to the polls, and it did, but now Biden will have to deal with the aftermath of students that thought they were getting relief and those that went to school thinking they would never have to pay back the loan.
Biden says he will not stop pushing this, but any future forgiveness will be struck down due to this precedent.
Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich got Biden to snap with one simple question.
Heinrich asked Biden about giving “false hope” to students, and Biden lost it.
He responded, “I didn’t give any false hope.
“The question was whether or not I would do even more than was requested.
“What I did I thought it was appropriate and was able to be done and would get done.
“I didn’t give false hope, but the Republicans snatched away the hope that they were given.
“And it’s real, real hope.”
Another reporter asked, “Did you overstep your authority?”
Biden, before walking out, responded, “I think the court misinterpreted the Constitution.”
That is almost comical coming from Biden, who has regularly been slapped on the wrist, as have administration officials, for overstepped the bounds of his office.
And Republicans did not snatch away any hope because Biden’s order was unlawful from the outset.
If you go back and look at videos of pressers at the time, Biden admitted he was walking a very fine line here.
It was false hope, and it shows how politicians can manipulate voters with policies that will never come into play or that will be overturned because they are unconstitutional.
Get the safe spaces ready because there are a lot of millennials that are going to need them.
