In recent months, the GOP has been looking very hard at the actions of the Pentagon.
In particular, it has been looking at the pushing of “woke” culture on our troops and their families.
A recent report published by the GOP raises quite a few alarms on this front.
Too Woke
Nobody is saying that we should have a much of homophobic, racist troops defending this country.
We are saying that when you are pulling troops away from military training to teach them the “proper” pronouns to use, you have taken things way too far.
A report by the GOP stated, “Our military’s singular purpose is to ‘provide for the common defense’ of our nation.
“It cannot be turned into a left-wing social experiment. It cannot be used as a cudgel against America itself.
“And it cannot be paralyzed by fear of offending the sensibilities of Ivy League faculty lounges or progressive pundits.
“The world is a dangerous place, and the Biden administration’s insanity is eroding our greatest source of security in it.”
The report was written by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX).
It goes into great detail showing the resources being used by the Pentagon to root out what it deems to be right-wing extremism while at the same time promoting far-left-wing ideology.
At one point, the entire military was told to stand down so Secretary Austin could root out extremists.
Of the more than two million troops we have, he found about 100 cases, a .005 percentage of active troops.
Rubio told Fox News, “Rather than making the case for American greatness and protecting our nation, the military is parroting woke nonsense.
“It’s dumb, it doesn’t work, and it’s dangerous.
“We need to spend more time thinking about how to counter Chinese aircraft carriers and less time thinking about pronouns.”
