GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy REPLACED

There is a growing movement in the Republican Party to have House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) ousted.

Quite frankly, it is probably a good idea.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who was defeated by McCarthy for leadership before, is now being named as a possible replacement.

Time for Change

McCarthy has not been able to keep his members in line by any definition of the word.

I cannot help but look to Rep. Cawthorn as a perfect example.

There have been scandals, loose cannons, and virtually zero production by the GOP in the House since McCarthy was voted to leadership.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has an idea.

He stated, “For my money, the best person to be speaker of the House would be Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio.

“Our base trusts him.

“He’s the hardest working, most talented member.”

For the record, Jordan has backed McCarthy for leadership, but he does have a taste for this position.

He also has the bold personality to stand up to Democrats and his fellow Republicans getting out of line.

To be clear, I am not talking about making Republicans vote against the wishes of their constituents.

What I mean is not having people go off the reservations like Cawthorn has done, as well as a few other members.

We cannot have Republicans being looked at as looney tunes if we want serious change, and McCarthy has allowed that to happen.

We need change, and removing McCarthy from leadership would be a good start.
