Ever since the 2020 election, the GOP has been fighting the aspects of the 2020 election where they believed we had the most issues with illegal ballots.

One of those fights is in fighting to keep the current mail-in ballot rules in place in one of the most corrupt states in the country when it comes to elections… Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, a PA judge sided with Democrats on a key issue to validate a mail-in ballot.

Why Have the Rules?

When you do a mail-in ballot, there are numerous procedures that must be followed for the ballot to be considered valid.

These are in place for a reason, or at least they were.

For instance, in Pennsylvania, one of the requirements is for there to be a handwritten date on the ballot for when it was filled out.

It’s a rule, plain and simple, but Judge Ellen Ceisler and the majority of the panel have decided it is a useless rule and it can no longer be used to disqualify a ballot.

She stated, “The refusal to count undated or incorrectly dated but timely mail ballots submitted by otherwise eligible voters because of meaningless and inconsequential paperwork errors violates the fundamental right to vote.”

The lone dissent on the panel came from Judge Patricia McCullough, who stated, “I must wonder whether walking into a polling place, signing your name, licking an envelope, or going to the mailbox can now withstand the majority’s newly minted standard.”

Republicans have already stated that they will appeal the decision, but I just cannot help but wonder why we even have rules in place if our courts are going to overrule them.

These judges are now deciding which laws they believe are good laws and which are bad, and ruling that way rather than deciding the case by the rule of law.

You guys have heard me go off many times about being able to predict the outcome of the case by the ideology of the judges making the decision, and that is again the case here.

We have activists on the bench, not judges, and that is a major problem in this country right now.
