President Donald Trump received Fox Nation’s “Patriot of the Year” award on Thursday. The signal honor is long overdue, We the People agree. The once and future president accepted the symbolic token of deplorable affection at an event in Long Island, New York.
Trump declared Patriot of year
Conservative Americans say Donald Trump deserves to be named patriot of the decade because he’s been Commander-in-Chief to all us “deplorables” since he first threw his hat in the ring, back in 2015.
Since Fox Nation only presents the award annually, he’s been declared the person who loves, zealously supports and defends their country the most, for 2024.
The 78-year-old tried and true patriot “accepted the award, designed to resemble the American flag, after a live performance of Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA.‘” Everyone knows the hit is Trump’s “go-to entrance song.” While reflecting on highlights of his successful campaign, he noted how his promises already began producing concrete results.
Other world leaders know he’s not waiting for January to take charge. They’re doing business with him now. “I think you have seen more happen in the last two weeks than you’ve seen in the last four years, and we’re not even there yet.”
“We had such a spectacular election,” Trump beamed. The audience was warm and enthusiastic at the December 5 event, held at Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Brookville. The “Patriot of the Year” award is being presented for the sixth time by Fox Nation, this year.
“It was a tremendous day, a tremendous night, a tremendous period of time.” Most people don’t know that “he went 72 days without a day off in the run-up to Election Day.” That’s typical for him. When there’s work to be done, he’s doing it.

Several inspirational figures
Donald Trump wasn’t the only American patriot to be honored. Fox Nation awarded recognition to “several inspirational figures, including military veterans, first responders and Stephanie Diller, the widow of slain NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller.” Sean Hannity was on hand for the event, serving as master of ceremonies.
“What I love about it is unlike, say, the Oscars or the Grammys or the Tonys, this honors the men and women that really do make the country great every day, unsung heroes and real patriots. They never get any recognition.”
A crowd of around “2,000 elegantly dressed people packed the venue.” In line with the patriot oriented event, many were “sporting American flags and ‘Make America Great Again‘ gear.”
Hannity described the award winners as “an eclectic blend of people.” Innovators are the ones who get creative to solve whatever issue is in front of them. “It’s an honor to be a part of it,” Hannity added.
Along with the big award for Patriot of the Year, Fox Nation handed out trophies for “service to veterans, bravery, courage and several other categories.” Besides Sean Hannity, roughly a dozen Fox personalities were in attendance. Easily recognized conservative names like Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham and Judge Jeanine Pirro. They took turns making appearances and serving as presenters.
Trump couldn’t resist commenting about the event earlier in the week on Truth Social. He posted “that he looked ‘greatly forward‘ to traveling to New York to receive the Patriot of the Year honor, which he called ‘so nice!’“
