A Florida man has been denied bail after police say he went on a strange and fatal criminal spree Friday, May 20th. He supposedly triggered a minimum of 3 severe car wrecks and shot and killed 3 people.
According to WFOR-TV, authorities think that the suspect: Dale Daniel Spidle started his fatal spree by shooting and killing the baby and his babysitter in an apartment or condo adjacent to his. Authorities think he then ran away from the scene of that criminal offense, triggering more damage, mayhem, and death throughout the day.
According to WFOR, Spidle crashed into a vehicle in Coral Springs, Florida during the course of his flight. Coral Springs cops tried to nab him, however, Spidle fled out of the Coral Springs jurisdiction. Due to the fact that Coral Springs cops did not know that Spidle had actually been associated with any criminal offenses besides the hit-and-run, the department stopped chasing him per department policy and rather communicated the suspect’s vehicle description to other city’s police departments.

Spidle’s car was immediately seen minutes later when he apparently triggered a four-car accident in neighboring Pompano Beach, Spidle supposedly left his automobile, shot and killed a nearby truck owner, obviously at random, and took his truck. Two other people were injured in the Pompano Beach crash.
The Broward County Sheriffs Office reported via Facebook,
BSO deputies responded to a report of a man lying in the roadway, not breathing, near the 800 block of Northeast 48th Street in Deerfield Beach. On scene deputies located an unresponsive adult male. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene.
He then drove to the parking lot of a Walgreens, got out of the truck naked, and robbed a woman of her necklace. After the robbery, he ran west on Sample Road, still naked, before he was apprehended by Coconut Creek Police at a Shell gas station at 4701 W. Sample Road.
While leaving in the stolen truck, Spidle apparently struck another automobile, causing two more injuries. Spidle’s erratic driving continued, as he then crashed the truck into two parked cars and trucks at a close-by Walgreen’s, and then robbed another victim at that site.
Spidle was ultimately captured totally naked at a Shell Gas Station by Coconut Creek, Florida authorities.
Throughout the course of the strange chase, authorities apparently went to the address on the automobile registration for Spidle’s cars and truck and discovered that a person of the nearby next-door neighbor’s doors was open, whereupon they went within and saw the bodies of the baby and sitter. The sitter was declared dead at the scene, and the baby passed away later on at the hospital from his injuries.
A next-door neighbor apparently informed WFOR that the whole series of events started as a after a disagreement between Spidle and the parents of the baby relating to noise.
According to AceNewsToday, at a court appearance the next day, “Spidle appeared with a cast on his arm which he complained to be broken in several places – and was ordered to be held without bond. He’s looking at charges of murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and fleeing the scenes of multiple accidents.”
