The FBI is changing their tune on the synagogue terrorist attack, and what they are saying now will come as a surprise to you…

The FBI is now releasing a new statement in regards to the synagogue terrorist attack. It was done late last Sunday, and it appears to contradict what their previous remarks were about this hostage situation that took place in Colleyville, Texas a few weeks ago.

The FBI’s new statement says the following: “This is a terrorism-related matter, in which the Jewish community was targeted, and is being investigated by the Joint Terrorism Task Force.”

To say that this statement is a major change of tune would be an understatement because just a few weeks prior to this new statement the FBI put out a declaration insisting that this shooting was not related to the Jewish community at all.

“We do believe from our engagement with this subject that he was singularly focused on one issue, and it was not specifically related to the Jewish community,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Matt DeSarno said at the time. “But we’re continuing to work to find a motive and we will continue on that path. In terms of the resolution of the incident, the hostage-taker is deceased.”

Naturally, the initial statement sparked a widespread backlash from several notable figures, including media personalities and well-known journalists.

One of the most notable comments came from Seth Mandel from the Washington Examiner, who described how the man “took a shul hostage” and demanded to free a notorious antisemite, forcing a rabbi to make a phone call to an associate in New York state to take care of this. He capped this off by sarcastically claiming that the motive was “likely indigestion” but we can’t rule out that he “lost a bet.”

Dan McLaughlin is a writer for the National Review, and he sarcastically made the comparison to Hitler, stating that his extermination of the Jews was only due to the Treaty of Versailles, and that “wasn’t Jews’ fault, either.”

Alberto Miguel Fernandez is a retired U.S. diplomat, and he described this opinion by the FBI as a “bizarre take”, to say the least.

Gregg Carlstrom from The Economist facetiously said that it was “just a coincidence” that this man targeted a house of worship by this particular religious minority.

The fact that the FBI changed their tune on this synagogue terrorist attack just illustrates the ridiculous double standard that is going on and how liberalism is literally taking this country down completely.

Are we watching our country crumbling from within? It sure looks like it.
