Many of us knew who Dr. Fauci was before the COVID pandemic hit.

That is to say that we knew him to be the man that took the microphone to explain dangerous and life-threatening viruses.

For the most part, people trusted him.

Many of us would now say that trust was misplaced, especially when you really look at the things that Fauci has said over the years in similar situations.

Loved Fearmongering

If we go back to a 2016 interview about the Zika virus, it shows this pattern of Fauci apparently hoping to get control by overplaying his hand on a virus.

Regarding the Zika virus, Fauci argued that we needed Congress to act urgently to prevent a widespread problem.

At the time, mosquito season was about to kick into high gear, so time was an issue.

To hear the interview by Fauci, this was a matter that seemed extremely urgent.

Yet, Johns Hopkins defined characterized the Zika virus as “Zika virus is similar to dengue fever, yellow fever and West Nile virus.

“Carried by infected Aedes aegypti mosquitos, Zika is largely transmitted through bites, but can also occur through intrauterine infection.”

It continued, “Symptoms of this virus are generally mild, with fever, rash and joint pain present.

“Most people who develop the virus do not have symptoms.”

This was Fauci’s game plan all along, and when COVID came along, he got everything he wanted.
