Faith Hill is now opening up on filming “that” naked scene with Tim McGraw, and apparently, she is just as amazed by it as we are!
For months, we have now been seeing teaser clips for the upcoming Yellowstone prequel called 1883. It was starring Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott, and it is going to be following Tim as James Dutton, a man known as Yellowstone’s John Dutton’s grandfather. He is traveling from Texas to Montana to start a new life.
Sam Elliott’s role will be that of Shea Brennan, a character who TVLine described as “a tough as nails, handsome cowboy with immense sadness in his past.”
This is truly going to be an interesting prequel indeed. One clip is going to show McGraw’s James Dutton character in a bathtub with his wife Margaret, and that is being played by his real wife of 25 years, Faith Hill.
Faith and Tim are on the latest cover of People Magazine, including an in-depth interview about their marriage, working together, and plenty of other interesting tidbits.
There were many difficult days of filming on that set, but none more so difficult for Faith and Tim than “that” bathtub scene. She explained to people, “It was really uncomfortable for me personally because I’m a very shy person in that type of situation. I obviously feel comfortable with my husband, but this is different. For intimate scenes, I feel like that belongs to us.”
Luckily for them, creator Taylor Sheridan understood Faith’s concerns and made sure that the set should be closed to only a select few people. Faith deeply appreciated it, saying that “it turned out to be beautiful.”
Although both have acted before, they have never done it together so they had to lay down some ground rules before proceeding.
“We have made it a point not to work on our scenes together until we’re on set,” Hill said in the interview. “It’s important that we react to one another naturally as characters, not as husband and wife.”
But McGraw has loved starring alongside his wife, saying, “It’s been incredible to do scenes together and to watch her work,” even when she has to slap some sense into him during a scene!
He revealed, “We had this scene where she has to slap me. I was expecting a finger slap but it was a paw to the jaw. There was 25 years of pent-up aggression going on! When you see it on screen, you realize it was a genuine hit.” There is no question that Faith’s naked scene with Tim McGraw was done well.
1883 premiered on December 19th and this pair is sizzling, both in and out of character!
