Never Trumper and co-founder of the Lincoln Project Rick Wilson is back in the news again after he called for “humiliation” and “incarceration” for supporters of President Trump.
In an expletive-filled column in the Daily Beast, RINO Rick Wilson wrote: “Remember, the Trump GOP is shorn of all ideological and philosophical pretense, and even when Trump leaves office, it’s not over. His cultists’ reign of terror will shape elected GOP members as long as he and his foul spawn walk the earth unpunished. Only exposure, pain, humiliation, and (inshallah) incarceration will lead to a moment of reckoning for the GOP. It should start at the top and work down from there.”
The deranged RINO even went so far as to compare Trump-supporting Republicans to prostitutes, writing: “America is watching them experiencing a combination of fury and humiliation as Trump heads to the door before even dropping the cash on the nightstand.”
The only Republican other than President Trump mentioned by name in the unhinged rant was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, whom Wilson compared to a German World War II bomber.
Wilson included a “hearty f— no” to people calling for reconciliation with Trump supporters after the election, asking whether members of conservative media who supported the president would consider “seppuku,” a Japanese ritual suicide.
The Never Trumper’s insane ramblings elicited praise from the left. Conservatives, including news outlet The Blaze, called his screed “chilling.”
Wilson has become more unhinged throughout the Trump presidency, drawing fire from conservatives in January after mocking Trump supporters as unintelligent hicks as part of a CNN panel.
According to Fox News, “Wilson emerged as one of the fiercest anti-Trump Republican voices over the past five years, culminating in helping found the Lincoln Project super PAC last year. While it received extensive media attention for its vitriolic ads, it was largely ineffective in moving the needle for Democrats in key Senate races.”
