Jordan Neely is the latest golden child of the Democrat Party.
Neely was the mentally ill man that was getting aggressive with strangers in New York City.
So, a good Samaritan put him in a headlock until officers arrived.
Neely ended up passing out and dying.
AOC characterized this as murder, and Mayor Adams disagreed.
Wrong Conclusions
Neely had a record about a mile long, including numerous assault charges.
But, as Democrats are often known to do, a criminal quickly becomes a hero…
Jordan Neely was murdered.
But bc Jordan was houseless and crying for food in a time when the city is raising rents and stripping services to militarize itself while many in power demonize the poor, the murderer gets protected w/ passive headlines + no charges.

She is saying this because the man that put Neely in a chokehold was a white guy. If it had been a minority, she never would have said a word.

Adams initially responded to their comments, stating, “Well both the congresswoman and the comptroller — the comptroller is a citywide leader — and I don’t think that’s very responsible at a time where we’re still investigating the situation.
“Let’s let the DA conduct his investigation with the law enforcement officials.
“To really interfere with that is not the right thing to do, and I’m going to be responsible and allow them to do their job and allow them to determine exactly what happened here.”
Mayor Adams also put out a statement on Twitter, which did not sit well with AOC…
This honestly feels like a new low: not being able to clearly condemn a public murder because the victim was of a social status some would deem “too low” to care about.

Did I mention that there was a warrant out for Neely at the time as well?
I guess these Democrats would have preferred that nobody stepped in and Neely assaulted someone, again, perhaps killed someone.
Would that make them happy because it sure seems that is where this is all going.
