One of the more celebrated marriages in sports appears to be headed for the shredder.
Reports surfaced Tuesday that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have hired divorce attorneys.
The two are reportedly getting an idea of what the divorce would entail as they split up their assets.
End of an Era
Tom Brady could not live without the limelight… that is what this all comes down to.
Bündchen all but gave up her career so he could continue his football career and chase more championships.
Last season was supposed to be Tom’s final, but he decided to come out of retirement.
When he made the announcement, reports surfaced that he made the decision without input from Bündchen.
She left town, reportedly heading to France alone to enjoy some downtime before the season started.
If reports are accurate, the two have not been living together since Tom made the announcement.
One source stated, “I don’t think there will be any coming back now.
“They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
The power couple has been married since 2009 and this was the one power couple that everyone thought would make it.
This is on Brady, though, as he desires the bright lights more than his supermodel wife.
I can’t blame her for wanting to get away from this egomaniac.
