The Gateway Pundit has published a rather disturbing report of how January 6 prisoners are being treated.
The story focuses on the story of Ryan Samsel.
Samsel has been in prison since January 2021, held without a trial as well as having been moved to 17 different facilities.
One of those facilities is documented in the story… what amounts to be a janitor’s closet.
Disgrace
TGP received photos of the FCD in Philadelphia where Samsel was thrown in what amounts to be a closet.
He was given a small plastic mattress to sleep on and a mop bucket to use as a toilet.

Samsel explained, “I was kept in … a hard cell. And in that particular cell about five, six months.
“I even told you what was happening is the judge was actually calling, trying to get in contact with me because I wasn’t in a named cell.
“They were missing me and they were saying I wasn’t showing up to court.
“They were saying I wasn’t showing up to medical.
“But they were pretty much keeping me in there… Like I said, it was cold, the light was on, there’s zero window.
“And that followed me from Virginia. When I was in Virginia, it was the same exact conditions.”
He then explained about Virginia, stating, “It was Central Regional Virginia Jail (CVRJ). I was kept in and they called it booking hard cell, which is you get zero phone, zero commissary, zero clothing because they think that you’re going to hang yourself and you’re on constant surveillance.
“You’re under surveillance constantly. The light has to be on 24/7. You’re locked in a cell.
“There is no getting out. The windows in Virginia were covered by a black mat, so you weren’t able to see.
“And it’s constant nothing. It’s deprivation of everything.”
Sounds to me like the prisoners at Gitmo are treated better than these guys, yet no advocacy groups are taking up their case.
Could that possibly be because they were all Trump supporters?
