Former Governor of Missouri and current Senatorial candidate Eric Greitens released a new advertisement on June 20th that was almost instantly censored on both Facebook and Twitter. The 38-second video states “open season” on RINO (Republican in Name Only) searching.
“Today, we’re going RINO hunting,” Greitens explains in the ad. “The RINO feeds on corruption, and is marked by the stripes of cowardice.”
The tongue-in-cheek and remarkable video culminates in Greitens, a previous Navy Seal, storming a home trying to find RINOs to hunt.
“Join the MAGA crew, get a RINO hunting permit. There’s no bagging limit, no tagging limit, and it doesn’t expire til’ we save our country,” Greitens says.
The advertisement was pulled by Facebook for “violating our policies prohibiting violence and incitement.”
Twitter left the advertisement up after choosing it was of “public’s interest,” however concealed it behind a caution box discussing that it broke their “abusive behavior” policy. The business shut off the retweet function to prevent the advertisement from being shared.

According to his site, Greitens acted as a United States Navy SEAL officer and deployed four times throughout the Global War on Terrorism to Afghanistan, Southeast Asia, the Horn of Africa, and Iraq.
