Ron DeSantis was in New York for a speaking engagement.
He ended up getting some additional entertainment that he had not planned on.
A group of Trump supporters crashed the event to show their support for the indicted former president.

Ron DeSantis is getting a taste of what he will see if he enters the presidential race.
Trump supporters are loyal, if nothing else, and Trump has put a target on DeSantis’ head with all these attacks.
So, this is what showed up at a DeSantis even in the parking lot…

They are also repeating all the talking points by Trump.
One supporter stated, “We’re all here gathering to show our support for the rightful President Donald J. Trump.
“I think Ron DeSantimonious has a lot of nerve to come here on New York turf where it’s Trump country, clearly.
“Especially two days after the politically motivated indictment that just got dropped from the Manhattan DA.
“So the fact that he’s here, he thinks he can run in a primary against Trump and it’s just not going to happen.”
I am not sure if she realizes it or not, but Trump got trounced in New York in the last election, so I don’t think he has explicit rights on the state.
