Now that Democrat cities and states are about to be overwhelmed, suddenly the border invasion is an emergency. New York City Mayor Eric Adams is really freaking out because state law requires him to house everybody.
Suddenly an emergency
Democrats are finally admitting there is an emergency. All the warnings were ignored. All the spiking numbers were spun into rainbow unicorn cotton candy. All the videos of invading migrants invading America en mass were suppressed. As Christmas approaches, the United States is buried in snow and millions are without power.
Meanwhile, migrants dressed for much warmer climates are being turned loose in the streets of El Paso. The ones with papers are allowed into the shelter. Border jumpers are on their own. Charities are overwhelmed. Everyone saw it coming but the Democrats. Unless that’s exactly what they wanted.
Thousands of migrants per day are flooding across the border with numbers expected to rise even higher any moment. Now that they need the sanctuary they were promised, the migrants find out nobody wants to give it.

They had two years to plan but waited until it became an emergency. Nobody has a clue what to do next. Joe Biden still won’t admit it’s his problem to deal with.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker can’t provide law enforcement or safety to his legitimate citizens and now he’s “scrambling to find housing ahead of the bitter cold winter.” All because Chicago got a couple dozen out of the 2 million or so on Tuesday, December 20.
Mayor Adams in New York “is predicting 1,000 migrants a week will arrive in the city and is already weighing reopening a controversial tent encampment to accommodate them.” He’s pulling the emergency alarm.

Cut services to everyone
Due to the scale of the “unprecedented emergency,” Adams is freaking out. “Our shelter system is full, and we are nearly out of money, staff, and space. If corrective measures are not taken soon, we may very well be forced to cut or curtail programs New Yorkers rely on, and the pathway to house thousands more is uncertain.”
Then the blizzards hit. Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily blocked the lifting of Title-42 but could remove it any moment. Meanwhile, the migrants got tired of waiting and they’re coming over anyway.
Democrats are in total panic mode. Politico writes that there’s “added anxiety too over whether Republican governors will transport thousands of migrants to Democratic-led strongholds by bus or plane, as Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis did this year.”

Domestic Security Minister Alejandro Mayorkas will be busing them around, too. He finally admitted that last week. The city of El Paso held off on declaring a state of emergency until FEMA paid up $6 million of the $8 million they were already owed. Nobody is guaranteeing they’ll get paid more.
Congress is trying to push $800 million into the barrel of pork they call a federal spending bill. That looks like it is on track to go through. After approval by the House, it got amended in the Senate and is awaiting final re-approval by the House. Mayor Adams “earlier this week asked for $1 billion” to help New York handle “the brunt of this crisis.”
He was “encouraged” by the federal funding, but is still panicking. “With over 800 people arriving in the past four days alone, it’s clear that we still need a comprehensive strategy at our border and additional resources.” Gee, haven’t Republicans been saying that for years? Suddenly, it’s an emergency. Stay warm, America. We’re in for a wild winter.
