You just have to love the hypocrisy of the left.
You really have to appreciate when they are railing against something while benefiting from the very thing they are complaining about.
In this case, we have California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom.
But…
Newsom was railing against the Second Amendment.
He had recently called it a “suicide pact.”
He stated, “This Second Amendment’s becoming a suicide pact, it feels like. California’s 37% lower gun death rate of the rest of the nation, and yet, with all that evidence, no one on the other side seems to give a d–n.”
He did seem to ignore the fact that California leads the country in homicides, even more than gun-happy Texas.

That man was armed to the teeth as part of Newsom’s security detail, and there were several more off camera.
Amy Hunter, the NRA’s director for media relations, was quick to pick up on this, stating, “Gov. Newsom made that statement while flanked by at least four armed guards.
“That is the definition of hypocrisy.”
Yes, Amy, it is.
