In a surprising moment of actual journalism from CNN, far-left propagandist Jake Tapper actually called out Vice President Kamala Harris for dodging numerous questions during her debate against former President Donald Trump.
During Trump’s debate against Harris and the biased ABC moderators, the vice president repeatedly lied, flip-flopped, and dodged nearly every important question. However, the moderators refused to call her out or ask follow-up questions to push for a response — while at the same time ganging up on Trump any time he did not give them the answer they wanted.
In response to what was likely the most biased and corrupt debate in U.S. history, Tapper actually called out Harris — stating that she “began the debate by punting the first question on the economy,” where ABC moderator David Muir asked Harris: “Do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago?”
The Democrat nominee completely avoided directly answering the question, instead lying about being “middle-class” as a way to attack her wealthy opponent.
Harris claimed: “So, I was raised as a middle-class kid. And I am actually the only person on this stage who has a plan that is about lifting up the middle class and working people of America.”
Responding to this deflection, Tapper stated: “It went on from there. Despite the economy being the number one issue facing the country, the sitting vice president generally reverted to talking points about a few of her policy proposals.”
“Even Harris allies today are saying that she needs to talk more about what she will do for Americans if elected,” Tapper added.
He went on to cite another deflection from Harris, noting that “she also dodged” questions about “the border, another vulnerable issue for Harris.” Tapper then played the clip of Harris refusing to answer a question about whether she would have done anything differently from President Joe Biden when it comes to border security.
Avoiding the question, Harris claimed: “So I’m the only person on this stage who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations for the trafficking of guns, drugs, and human beings.”
Tapper pointed out, “That wasn’t the question,” then went on to note that Harris also refused to directly answer questions about the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
Harris weakly replied to a question about the matter by stating: “We need a ceasefire deal and we need the hostages out. And so we will continue to work around the clock on that.”
Tapper responded to the clip: “Okay, but again, how?”
Clearly, Tapper saw what many Americans already knew — Harris does not have policy prescriptions, answers to serious issues, or the ability to be honest to the American people. She has consistently avoided the media, unscripted events, and pinning down her actual beliefs because she is terrified that her answers will either anger the far-left radicals in the party or the more left-leaning moderates. But many were surprised that Tapper, who is known for his anti-Trump views and for spreading Democrat propaganda, actually had the guts to say it.
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk deemed Tapper’s comments “a shocking moment of journalism.”
