Jake Tapper had a chance to expose the hypocrisy of the Democrat Party, but he chose to do a softball interview instead.
Tapper, who used to be a respectable journalist and still has an occasional moment, fell flat on his face while interviewing Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.).
Jeffries is expected to take over leadership for Democrats in the House.
Sloppy
Jeffries has been an election denier since popping on to the scene.
He made no qualms about the fact that he thought the 2016 election was stolen.
He also called Trump an illegitimate president on numerous occasions.

Tapper, of course, never broached the subject.
This was pretty ironic since Jeffries actually did bring up Republicans who are election deniers.
Spicer sent Tapper another tweet after the interview aired…
