In a Friday broadcast, CNN was forced to admit that the actions of Republicans like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in bussing illegal aliens to Democrat-run cities have forced Democrats to acknowledge the border crisis.
Abbott, along with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), have sent numerous busloads of illegal aliens to Democrat-run cities over the past few years as part of an effort to force pro-illegal immigration leftists to experience the consequences of their insane policies. The cities that were targeted as part of these bussing programs include Chicago, New York City, and even Washington, D.C.

President Joe Biden also transported illegal aliens on secret flights and busses across the country, which only exacerbated the crisis.
During a Friday episode of CNN’s “The Lead,” CNN White House correspondent Priscilla Alvarez admitted that Democrats have shifted their positions on border security since the start of the Biden-Harris administration because “there were so many crises on the U.S.-Mexico border over the last three years with so many migrants crossing and then being sent to Democratic-led cities, that, now, Democrats across the country have started to raise concerns about what they have seen play out on the border.”
She went on to confirm that there has been a “shift within the Democratic Party that we have seen play out over the last three years as this administration has grappled with multiple border crises.”
Alvarez also noted that Vice President Kamala Harris is losing to former President Donald Trump on the issue because of the Biden-Harris administration’s failure to deal with the border crisis — stating that Harris has been “trying to take a tough position on the U.S.-Mexico border as they try to narrow that polling gap with former President Donald Trump, who, oftentimes, is leading by double digits when it comes to who voters trust on this very issue.”
Later in the broadcast, CNN host Jake Tapper asked: “Has [Harris] addressed that question of why did she view the issue that way in 2019 and why has she evolved and [has] a different position today?”
Once again, Alvarez was forced to acknowledge the truth — that Harris has repeatedly side-stepped the question about her sudden flip-flop on illegal immigration.
Alvarez responded: “Well, when that question has come up, she has pivoted to the work of this administration, which, of course, didn’t decriminalize crossings. But I will say, Jake, that you have to zoom out here a little bit, because the Democratic Party of today is not where it was when President Joe Biden took office. Of course, remember that there were so many crises on the U.S.-Mexico border over the last three years with so many migrants crossing and then being sent to Democratic-led cities, that, now, Democrats across the country have started to raise concerns about what they have seen play out on the border.”
