The cause and manner of death were released for Tafari Campbell, who served as Barack Obama’s personal chef.
On July 23rd, 45-year-old Campbell was paddle boarding on Edgartown Pond in Martha’s Vineyard when he lost his balance and fell into the water without a life jacket or tether to his board.
After struggling to stay afloat, he eventually slipped beneath the surface and was found eight feet deep.
After an investigation and autopsy were conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Massachusetts, Campbell’s death has been ruled an “accident” with no external trauma or injuries found on his body.
This contradicts earlier reports from The Gateway Pundit which suggested that Martha’s Vineyard law enforcement left out important details regarding Campbell’s drowning.
A review of the 911 distress call log reveals that there is a significant void in information surrounding the incident.
While all other calls made that night had their reasons clearly stated, this one was marked as BLANK.
Moreover, while police records state that the first call originated from Obama’s residence, it appears they have left out key facts about where exactly it came from – only saying Wilson’s Landing which is two miles away from Obama’s estate.
Massachusetts state police are further compounded suspicion after ruling out foul play but refusing to release any further details about their investigation citing public records law exemption which allows investigative officials to withhold materials if disclosing them could compromise efforts.
Justin Silverman, head of region’s First Amendment coalition expressed outrage stating that this “flies in the face” of Public Records Law.
As more information regarding Tafari Campbell comes to light some have started suspecting a possible cover up by authorities due to lack of transparency and refusal to provide key information related to the case despite ruling out foul play quickly and labeling Campbell’s death an “accident.”
No new updates have come out since then so speculation continues among many.
