A real-life “Kill Bill” scenario played out in Mexico.
Marco Antonio Rosales Contreras, 32, was gunned down only minutes after tying the knot.
The only memory his bride will have of her wedding day is his blood splattered all over her wedding dress.
Oops…
Contreras was reportedly gunned down by mistake.
He was leaving his wedding ceremony at Neustra Señora de La Candelaria church in Caborca when gunfire rang out.
There was reportedly only one shooter who fled the scene after the attack.
Video released later showed the bride being led away in hysterics, the bottom of her gown soaked in blood.
State officials stated, “Investigations indicate that the attack against Marco Antonio was directed towards another individual who was also getting married at the same time in a different nearby city.”
According to reports, there was another attack at a wedding in a nearby city.
So, it would appear that they realized the hit the wrong person and carried out another attack against the intended target.
The Caborca cartel is currently at war with the Sinaloa cartel, and this appears to be a byproduct of that war.
