Is the case against Donald Trump going into the shredder?
There are a lot of whispers right now that that may be the case.
Grand Jury testimony was canceled twice last week.
The jury wrapped up its proceedings on Monday, but we have still yet to hear of any charges being filed against Trump.
Shut It Down
The case was always weak.
So much so, Bragg had ended the investigation when he first took office, but only revived it after Trump announced that he was going to run for office again.
This goes much deeper than that, however.
By the end of last week, there were significant reports that prosecutors in the DAs office were not happy that Bragg was going to try to prosecute this case as a felony.
The general consensus was that the case was not strong enough.
There were also rumors that the Grand Jury may not even indict, which would be a nightmare situation for Bragg.
If he comes up empty, he going to have a lot of explaining to do to taxpayers for wasting millions during this bogus investigation.
