This shocking news has left many fans worried for this Hollywood legend’s health.

Unfortunately, Morgan Freeman has had to cancel his planned press tour in the United Kingdom due to an illness.

His representative reported that the 86-year-old actor had come down with a fever and was believed to have caught a contagious infection.

He had been scheduled to promote his new spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness alongside co-stars Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman.

Unbeknownst to many fans was that Freeman has been suffering from an invisible medical condition known as fibromyalgia since 2008.

During that year, Freeman suffered a devastating car crash near Charleston Mississippi where both passengers were airlifted to hospital after vehicle flipped over multiple times.

The nerve damage sustained left Freeman unable to move his lower left arm or hand so he wears compression gloves during events to help improve circulation and relieve pain associated with this chronic illness.

The One Show host Alex Jones admitted she was “gutted” that Morgan wasn’t able to make it for this event. On behalf of the actor, his representative told DailyMail that he is now feeling better but remained in the US due to medical advice from his doctor.

Fans were disappointed when it was announced that Morgan wouldn’t be able to attend any promotional events in London, but we’re glad he’s doing better now and hope he feels fully recovered soon!
