BREAKING: 22 Deputy Recruits Plowed Down

On Wednesday morning, 22 recruits training for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were plowed down by a “a wrong-way SUV driver.” They are investigating it as a “DUI” but there are a whole bunch of signs pointing to an intentional act of domestic terror. This remains a developing story.

Sheriff’s Department recruits

Authorities are confirming on Wednesday, November 16, that nearly two dozen recruits training for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were struck and injured, some seriously “by a wrong-way SUV driver during a training run in a Whittier neighborhood.

Witnesses relate that the trainees are often seen in the neighborhood and “were on a run when they were struck.

First responders verify that twenty-two were injured, “including five in critical condition. Four suffered moderate injuries and 14 people, including the driver, suffered minor injuries.

Firefighters at Station 96 didn’t wait for the alarm call because they “heard a loud crash after seeing the recruits running past the fire station.” As related by LA County Fire Department Captain Sheila Kelliher “After they heard the accident, they immediately responded with 20 response vehicles.

A sheriff’s department spokesperson told local NBC reportersthe driver veered across lanes and plowed into recruits who were running in formation.

An investigator added “the crash is being investigated for a possible DUI.

Could have been intentional

While the paramedics probably had some clue that intoxicants were involved in the crash, they might have played a secondary role. The way the situation unfolded makes it look a lot like a predetermined attempt to kill as many law officer recruits as they could at one whack.

Officials are noting that “the number of victims and their conditions could change as more information becomes available.” A news conference is pending.

Details gathered by the press so far indicate that the “rash was reported at about 6:30 a.m. in the 10600 block of Mills Avenue.” A “heavily damaged SUV with a crumpled front end” remains on the sidewalk by the downed light pole which stopped the onslaught.

A visually disturbing image of how gruesome the scene became was provided by “green, yellow and red triage mats, indicating severity of injuries,” set up on the street. “Several recruits were transported to hospitals in ambulances.

The driver has only been identified as a 22-year-old resident of Diamond Bar who remains in custody for questioning. The department’s pre-academy training center has been a local fixture in the 11000 bock of Colima Road in Whittier. That’s about a mile from where the incident occurred.

The S.T.A.R.S. Center is one of two pre-academy training sites serving Los Angeles County. Along with that visibility and routine comes a big red target in these days of over the top left-wing propaganda and rhetoric. A whole class of recruits was just removed from the streets before they ever even got started.
