The Biden administration’s poisonous attitude toward immigration has now seeped into Border Patrol leadership.
According to a memo revealed by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moore, sector stations were given a directive regarding “bookout” rates.

So, this order was all about optics at these holding stations.
Border Patrol leadership was more worried about appearances than holding possible migrant criminals.
Leadership sent sectors bookout rates, which is the number of migrants they wanted to let go in order to keep holding facility numbers under control.
Florida AG Ashley Moody obtained the memo due to a case that is now in litigation against the Biden administration.
She stated, “This latest email is further proof of the disastrous cycle created by Biden’s intentional destruction of our border with Mexico. Biden cuts resources, opens the border, and then releases detainees while claiming there is not enough detention capacity to prevent the unprecedented flood of migrants entering the country because of his terrible policies.
“With every passing day, it is becoming more obvious that the border crisis is being intentionally orchestrated by the Biden administration.
“We will continue to do everything in our power to push back and let the American people know what Biden is doing.”
It is absolutely unforgivable that leadership is now putting appearances over and above the safety of the American people.
