Just this past weekend, terrorist group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel which included thousands of rockets and numerous fighters infiltrating Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip. So far, it is assumed that at least 11 Americans have been killed and many more taken hostage by Hamas militants. Now, Hamas has made threats to execute the hostages and post the footage online.
With so much tragedy happening, it’s shocking how little Joe Biden has done to protect American citizens – both at home and abroad.
The Hamas terrorists have already beheaded Israeli soldiers during their attacks, making it all too clear what they plan to do with the hostages they’ve taken if nothing is done to stop them. Many other Americans are still unaccounted for – no one knows where they are or what happened to them.
The US government needs to act now in order to make sure these innocent people don’t become victims of terrorist atrocities.

For two days after the attacks began Joe Biden remained silent before he finally released a weak statement about “American citizens impacted in Israel” on Monday morning, October 9, that barely lasted three minutes before he shuffled away from the podium without taking any questions.
In his statement he said: “It’s heart wrenching… My heart goes out to every family impacted by the horrible events of the past few days.” He also said that his administration is still working to confirm whether any American citizens are being held hostage – which begs the question: how does he not know 3 days into this war?
He then attempts damage control by saying “the safety of American citizens–whether at home or abroad–is my top priority as President” yet his administration has kept our borders wide open and allowed countless dangerous illegals and terrorists into our country without consequence.

The US government needs take swift action instead of just giving lip service if we want justice for those affected by this heinous terror attack against innocent civilians. We need an aggressive response backed up with real evidence that proves we will not tolerate terrorism against our own people or anyone else for that matter.
The State Department should provide consular assistance immediately for all affected Americans in Israel while intelligence agencies work together across borders identify who was responsible and bring them to justice – anything less would be unacceptable.
