Things are imploding at the Palace this week with scandal after controversy after failure at every turn. The latest disaster for His Wisdom Joe Biden and his Imperial team of handlers involves OMB nominee Neera Tanden. She dropped her name from consideration in disgrace because everybody hates her. Except Joe. He went out on a limb to defend her confirmation and now he plots a way to keep her where he can get his hands on her. One way or another.
Biden has withdrawal problem
Imperial Leader Joe Biden is having withdrawal pains so bad he called his son Hunter for advice. Late on Tuesday, he had no choice but to accept Neera Tanden’s resignation from a job she hadn’t landed yet.
She withdrew her name from consideration as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. She did it because Democrats hate her as much as conservatives do.
The move is regarded as “a blow to Joe Biden because he continued to back Tanden as Senators circled the wagons and announced they would vote against her.” Now he looks bad. As if he didn’t have enough mud in his past to rake up.
His handlers forced him to nominate “a toxic, liberal conspiracy theorist” but they weren’t expecting hostility from the Blue team. The big problem is that not only was she “one of the most vocal Russiagate conspiracy theorists,” she “also went for the throats of Sen. Bernie Sanders and his supporters.” There are some filthy rumors of threesomes with Hillary and Huma.
The number one reason she decided to slink away and hide from Joe Biden is because of “snide remarks that she made online toward Senators.”
Former Bernie Sanders campaign adviser David Sirota notes: “The reason to celebrate the end of Neera Tanden’s nomination has nothing to do with her late-night out-of-control rage-tweeting and everything to do with her record. She is not a victim — she is a perpetrator.”

No path forward
Tanden sees no path forward in her political future but His Wisdom Joe Biden thinks he has a position for her if he drags her off the path into the bushes. “Unfortunately,” she wrote, “it now seems clear that there is no path forward to gain confirmation, and I do not want continued consideration of my nomination to be a distraction from your other priorities.
I am incredibly grateful for your leadership on behalf of the American people and for your agenda that will make such a transformative difference in people’s lives.”
Biden was disappointed but told her not to give up hope. He accepted her request but “I look forward to having her serve in a role in my Administration.
She will bring valuable perspective and insight to our work.” Everybody knew she was not going to be confirmed. All it took was one rogue DINO defector to seal her fate.
Biden lost all chance of getting the controversial Tanden confirmed when Imperialist Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia publicly announced his opposition. That means a REPUBLICAN would have to go RINO and even Mitt Romney isn’t sticking his neck out for this one.
Conservative strategist Matt Whitlock observed “can’t emphasize enough how big a failure this is for Ron Klain.” Even liberals are happy. Progressive journalist Aaron Mate tweets, “Biden should immediately appoint Neera Tanden Special Counsel to investigate whether Russian bots were responsible for spiking her nomination.”
