An election over the pond has Joe Biden terrified.
Biden never mentioned Giorgia Meloni by name, but the new Italian Prime Minister has him very concerned.
So concerned, in fact, he warned his fellow Democrats that they cannot allow someone like that to be elected here.
Sorry, Not a Fascist
Meloni is very conservative, which means she is being painted as a far-right politician and a fascist by the left.
I have heard her speak and I think she is amazing.
She talks about faith, about family, about morals… she believes there are, dare I say, only two genders.
She terrifies the left, including Joe Biden.
At the recent Democratic Governors Association fundraiser, Biden stated, “You just saw what’s happened in Italy in that election.
“You’re seeing what’s happening around the world.
“And the reason I bother to say that is we can’t be sanguine about what’s happening here either.
“I don’t want to exaggerate it, but I don’t want to understate it.”
He continued, “It’s the reason why I’m so concerned about and so interested in and so committed to seeing that the governors – Democratic governors are elected.
“Because, literally, the outcome of an election is going to be determined by how well the governors run their states, who’s in charge at the time…how we count the votes, whether or not it’s transparent, and a whole range of things.”
Italy is a NATO ally, a G7 partner, and a prominent member of the European Union, and Joe Biden is talking smack about her.
Not a good look, to say the least.
