During Tuesday night’s SOTU address, Joe Biden made up a lot of nonsense.

He continued to push debunked narratives by twisting the words of Republicans.

Not only that, Biden was relying on something another Republican said more than a decade ago.

To support his narrative, he even brought props to a follow-up speech, but even that backfired on him.

Lies

Biden pulled out a pamphlet outlining Senator Scott (R-FL) plan for Medicare and Social Security.

Scott’s plan does not end the programs, but looks for a way to revamp the funding so they can be continued because, clearly, the way they are funded now is not working.

Biden talked about some Republicans supporting sunsetting the programs, which Biden himself proposed in 1995, which is important to remember.

Biden held Senator Lee (R-UT) to a 2010 statement he made about ending the programs, a stance he longer takes.

Lee recently stated, “Throughout my first campaign and from the day I took office, I have been clear: we must honor our commitments to retirees.

“That has been reflected in every vote I’ve cast, every bill I’ve introduced, and every speech I’ve given regarding Social Security.”

Point being, if Biden wants to use that statement by Lee to justify his stance, then we have to do the same for Biden’s 1995 statements.

There is nothing wrong with revamping a broken system, yet Biden, who recommended some of these changes himself when he was a Senator, is twisting words to suck in more votes, but it will not work.

The only people that still believe that man are the true Kool-Aid drinkers.
