It was bad enough this administration was trying to do damage control before Thursday’s economic report came out.
Continuing that narrative afterward was just a bit too much for anyone to take, and Fox News had a great day ripping this administration to shreds.
On multiple fronts, Fox News stood tall to take down Biden officials and make them look foolish.
The Take Downs
Peter Doocy, once again, was epic in calling out White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
All he needed to do was something I had suggested… approach it from how Democrats would look at it if a Republican were in office.
Doocy dug up some previous quotes from Democrats now working for Joe Biden, who, at the time, readily accepted the definition of a recession.
As Doocy points out, the only difference between then and now is that a Republican was in the White House…
And, by the way, if you look up the textbook definition of a recession, it is EXACTLY what Doocy said it was.
The fact this administration is digging in so deep on this is just flat-out insulting.
However, Doocy was not the only one, as Bill Hemmer took out economic adviser Jared Bernstein.
When Bernstein said it was a good idea to raise corporate taxes in a recession, he acted like these companies would not pass that tax back down to consumers.

Everything Hemmer said is true, as we have seen historically, and everything Bernstein said is a lie.
This will all come back to bite them soon enough, but it will not stop the average American from paying the price for this ridiculousness in the meantime.
