Armed Trans Activists, Antifa Disrupt Women’s Rights Event

Armed transgender activists and Antifa members disrupted a women’s rights speaking event at the Seattle Public Library on Sunday, attempting to intimidate attendees and prompting a heavy police response.

Women’s Declaration International (WDI), a feminist group critical of transgenderism, hosted the panel event to discuss protecting women-only spaces that have been infiltrated by men pretending to be women.

The event took place just before a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals hearing scheduled for Monday in downtown Seattle at the William Nakamura Courthouse, which will began with oral arguments from Olympus Spa — a Korean female-only nude spa that was ordered to allow men to bathe naked with female customers in a lower court ruling.

WDI planned to hold a press conference outside of the hearing as well in support of the Korean spa’s staff and female clients, the vast majority of whom are elderly Asian women.

In response to WDI’s event at the library, radical leftists issued a “call to action” on social media to shut them down — circulating a flier that read: “Let them know they are not welcome!” The agitators planned to show up an hour early for the 7 p.m. event to disrupt it, bringing with them “noise makers, flags, signs, and trans joy.”

Of course, as is typical for these types of “protests,” the radical activists were anything but joyful. The radical Antifa militants showed up around 5:30 p.m. carrying firearms and roaming the library grounds, searching for political targets while carrying radios. There were also many transgender activists who showed up at around 6:20 p.m. wearing masks to hide their identities.

The “protesters” soon began harassing and intimidating the event’s attendees when they tried to get into the library. One victim of the harassment reportedly entered the library in tears, as she had been surrounded by Antifa militants and physically blocked from entering the building until library security showed up to help her. The activists also reportedly screamed vulgarities at the woman.

It only got worse from there, as the black-clad Antifa extremists eventually began scaling the library building, banging on the windows in an attempt to intimidate the women’s rights activists inside, and even attempted to breach the doors. Police then showed up and ordered the leftist activists to leave the library or risk arrest, prompting a standoff until the activists relented and decided to relocate to the back entrance of the library.

However, they did show back up at the front entrance near the end of the event, but Seattle Police officers and the library’s security helped attendees leave safely through another exit.

According to the activists, women who want separate facilities from men are “bigots,” and men pretending to be women deserve unrestricted access to women-only spaces including bathrooms, changing areas, and women’s sports.

Meanwhile, despite the militant activists’ best efforts, the event “ran smoothly,” according to an exclusive report from The Post Millennial.

“Despite the ruckus outside, the WDI event ran smoothly. Attendees told The Post Millennial that the panelists’ stories inspired them to take up the battle to protect women’s spaces. Some reported they were moved to tears. The WDI panelists consisted of women’s rights activists Amy Sousa, Kara Danksy, April Morrow, Elle Palmer, Susanna Keilman, and Carol Dansereau. Women’s Declaration International, according to its website, is a radical feminist organization dedicated to combating sex-based discrimination,” the outlet reported.
