One of the most notable enemies of the Clinton family is dead.

Former independent counsel Ken Starr has passed away.

According to reports, he died due to complications with surgery, which already has those conspiracy wheels turning.

The Clinton Mafia

Do I think the doctor operating on Starr was a member of the Clinton Mafia?

No, but there are plenty of people that do.

Starr, 76, had his death announced by his son, Randall.

He stated, “We are deeply saddened with the loss of our dear and loving Father and Grandfather, whom we admired for his prodigious work ethic, but who always put his family first.

“The love, energy, endearing sense of humor, and fun-loving interest Dad exhibited to each of us was truly special, and we cherish the many wonderful memories we were able to experience with him.”

Starr also had a stint as the president of Baylor University.

Current Baylor President Linda Livingstone stated, “Judge Starr was a dedicated public servant and ardent supporter of religious freedom that allows faith-based institutions such as Baylor to flourish.”

Starr was the man that almost took Bill Clinton out.

He was tasked with investigating the Whitewater real estate scandal, which eventually led Starr down the road of Bill Clinton’s sexual misconduct.

That trail started with Paula Jones and ended with Monica Lewinsky and a House impeachment of Clinton.

Starr, at the time, stated, “I was assigned to do a job by the attorney general, and that was to find out whether crimes were committed in this (Paula Jones) sexual harassment lawsuit.

“The whole idea of equal justice under law means that you’ve got to play by the rules. It has nothing to do with the underlying subject matter. You just tell the truth.”

He resigned in 1999 due to the “intense politicization of the independent counsel process.”

Starr is survived by his three children and wife Alice.
