Build Back Better? More like “Build Back Broke”! Indeed, it’s just so swell that we now have obscure Democrats attempting to explain it.
Indeed, U.S. Representative Katie Porter of California’s 45th District continues to lecture us about just how wonderful this bill is, and she recently made an appearance on the MSNBC Democratic bobblehead network where she continued her mantra, cajoling not just hesitant fellow politicians but a skittish American public that this is literally the best thing since sliced bread.
Representative Porter then attempts to describe it as Biden’s attempt to make a strong, stable, globally competitive economy, and to do that, Rep. Porter believes that we have to make investments.
Well, how so, congresswoman?
Porter continues to go down with this ship by saying that this simply means that the U.S. government would “invest” in different aspects of infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and even cybersecurity. This “Build Back Better” plan would also attempt to invest in green energy jobs, early childhood education, and lowering the cost of prescription drugs. Yes, these Democrats are calling it an “investment” and not just throwing money at a problem.
However, the way that the congressman attempted to explain it was through the concept of “building blocks.”
Joe Manchin, on the other hand, is one Democrat who is at least attempting to be the voice of reason in all of this mad spending debacle. At the date of this writing, he is still hesitant to support this bill because he is concerned about inflation, and that truly is a very valid point.
In the meantime, Representative Porter is so deluded that she actually thinks that even Republicans are eventually going to come around and support this bill!
These bleeding hearts have a screw loose if they think build back broke is going to do anything but make things in this country that much worse!
