Kamala Harris’ team is quickly spiraling out of control as the border debacle unfolding resulted in the resignation of not one but TWO key staffers in the Office of the Vice President she currently occupies. This story has been locked down tightly too! With both primary sources The New York Times and Newsweek hiding it behind a paywall, most people haven’t even heard about the utterly shambolic state of Kamala’s petty kingdom at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
The Washington Examiner reports,
“Karly Satkowiak, the director of advance, and Gabrielle DeFranceschi, the deputy director of advance, will depart, Harris’s office confirmed to the Washington Examiner.”
The Examiner further reported that the departures were “long-planned” according to an unnamed spokeswoman, (stop us if you’ve heard this one before). However, given the recent and significant fallout from Harris’ long overdue, and equally pointless sojourn to the general ‘region’ of the border rather than any kind of meaningful tour. As anyone with even a modicum of experience in the US’ expansive borderlands will tell you: a trip to El Paso doesn’t tell you the story or our border problems. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) summed it up nicely,
Calling Kamala’s visit to El Paso a visit to the Southern Border is the equivalent of going to Olive Garden and saying you’ve been to Italy.

“I’m sure her planners told her that if you’re going to go down to the border, go to something that’s safer to go to, that is, politically safer,” Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX), said June 24th wouldn’t even carry the water for Harris’ blunder.
“The epicenter is down there in the Lower Rio Grande, the lower part of my district down there. If you look at the numbers that are down there compared to El Paso, you’re not going to get a true picture of what’s happening.”
The Wrath of Harris
The Harris office is apparently rife with dissent among the ranks and following the unmitigated PR disaster of the El Paso trip. Politico painted a picture of a catastrophic collapse in the making.
“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment,” said another person with direct knowledge of how Harris’ office is run. “It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—.”
The situation probably didn’t get any better after Kamala Harris was greeted by her adoring public in the heart of Texas. Politico referred to several unnamed sources supporting reports DeFranceschi and Satkowiak left under less than ideal circumstances citing “difference in opinion on how things should run,” and complaints that “Harris’ office is run “very different” from the Obama operation, where DeFranceschi previously worked. “If you have an opinion about how things should run and it’s not listened to, that can be frustrating.”
Job openings have been posted to replace Kamala’s depleted team, perhaps they’ll also discover that it’s hard for “a tense and at times dour office atmosphere” to compete with endless stimulus checks and increased unemployment benefits.
