Pelosi Resignation Announcement STUNS Dems

Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) was recently indicted on bribery and corruption charges.

Since that indictment came down, Democrats have been lining up to demand his resignation.

Now, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has joined those calls.

Step Down

This is a really interesting issue because Democrats are walking a very weird line here.

In one breath, they are saying that he is entitled to the right to be presumed innocent until he is proven guilty in a court of law.

As soon as they start that second breath, though, they are demanding his resignation.

By no means am I defending Menendez, but how can you ask someone to resign when they are only allegations and not yet proven?

Do I think Menendez is guilty? I sure do, but I have personally experienced being accused of something horrific, almost lost my career, and the allegations were eventually proven to be completely and utterly false.

And why is all this happening?

Well, that would be because Democrats have backed themselves into a corner over Donald Trump, so they have no choice but to demand the resignation of Menendez.

As I have said many times… this is all theater folks, so don’t fall for it.

Why do Dems really want Menendez to step down?

Because they are terrified that the idiotic people who vote for them will vote for Menendez in a primary and they will lose that seat in the general.

If he steps down, their Democrat governor gets to appoint a successor who would finish out the term.

If that happens, Murphy will likely choose someone he believes would win as an incumbent.

This is about power… make no mistake about that.
