What is the constant that Democrats have been pushing from Day One about Trump and January 6?
That would be that Trump wanted the riot to happen.
So, why did Trump request National Guard troops to be at the Capitol during the rally if that is the case?
Riddle Me This…
The Pentagon Memo came to surface via an IG investigative report.
The report makes note of a meeting that took place with, among others, Donald Trump, General Milley, and Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller.
The report reads, “Mr. Miller and GEN Milley met with the President at the White House at 5:30 p.m.
“The primary topic they discussed was unrelated to the scheduled rally. GEN Milley told us that at the end of the meeting, the President told Mr. Miller that there would be a large number of protestors on January 6, 2021, and Mr. Miller should ensure sufficient National Guard or Soldiers would be there to make sure it was a safe event.
“Gen Milley told us that Mr. Miller responded, ‘We’ve got a plan and we’ve got it covered.'”
House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) also needs to be brought into this because as Speaker, security falls under her purview.
Of course, that will not happen because this is her committee and the committee has made it quite clear it is not interested in investigating Pelosi.
Getting back to the meeting, why was Trump’s request denied?
Optics… they did not want it to appear like martial law was being put in place.
What’s that? You think maybe it was denied because they wanted this to get out of control to have something on Trump?
If that thought just crossed your mind, you are not alone.
