If there is one thing we can depend on in this country, it is that violence will break out in Democrat-run cities over the summer.
Holiday weekends, in particular, have turned to shooting fish in the barrel.
That was exactly the situation that panned out in Philadelphia over the July 4 weekend.
Blood in the Streets
A block party was broken up when a shooter unleashed in a southwest Philadelphia neighborhood on the evening of July 3.
A shooter arrived complete with body armor, opening up fire and unleashing about 50 shots before he stopped.
The attack left five people dead as well as two young children being injured.
Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw stated, “We have absolutely no idea why this happened.
“At this point, all we know is that this person left their home and decided to target individuals.”
The only thing that kept this death toll as low as it was is the fact that officers were nearby when the shots started and immediately responded.
Outlaw stated, “Thank God our officers were here on scene, they responded as quickly as they did, I can’t even describe the level of bravery and courage that was shown in addition to the restraint.”
This is the same city that had its mayor, Mayor Jim Kenney, stating that he could not wait for his term to be over because he is sick and tired of the gun violence in the city.
Ironically, it is his policies that have led to the city being taken over by thugs and criminals.
