Tucker Carlson has been very critical of Joe Biden’s involvement in Ukraine from the outset.
It is now being reported that Fox News Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch may have had someone influence him on the front of letting Tucker Carlson go.
As it turns out, Murdoch reportedly met with Ukraine President Zelensky just prior to letting Carlson go.
He Bothers Me
Murdoch and Zelensky reportedly had a rather extensive phone call about two weeks before Carlson was let go.
Not only that, his son, Lachlan Murdoch also had a call with Zelensky.
The topic of discussion was reportedly the Ukraine war and the death of a Fox News journalist.
It is a safe bet that Carlson’s constant hammering of the United States giving Zelensky a black check was probably also among the topics discussed.
Now people are starting to wonder if Zelensky hinted that he would be appreciative if they could take Carlson off the air.
Murdoch has not been happy with Carlson’s rants against Ukraine, with numerous reports having surfaced that Murdoch was “disturbed” by Carlson’s take on the war.
Tucker’s dismissal from Fox News was celebrated by the entire left and the establishment right.
Carlson’s future plans are likely on hold until he and Fox come to a separation agreement.
Even though Carlson is now off the air, Fox still has him under contract through the end of the election in 2024.
