A Texas mother and daughter were tragically found dead.
Authorities believe it was a murder-suicide case.
Authorities were called to the home after some family members went to the home after the pair had not been seen or heard from for days.
Tragic Discovery
Family members were the first to enter the home, when they spotted the two bodies lying dead.
When deputies arrived at the home on Sage Manor Drive in Harris County, they found the two dead women in the home.
The discovery was made just after noon one Saturday.
Investigators believe the 46-year-old mother shot her 15-year-old daughter, then took her own life.
Police are now asking anyone that knew the family to please reach out to them with any information they may have as to why this woman chose to take her life and that of her daughter.
Authorities have also stated that a new mental health crisis line has been established.
