ICYMI – Remember when being an American pretty much meant you were off-limits?

That is no longer the case.

Yet again, Americans traveling abroad have reportedly been kidnapped.

Take Them

Jean-Dickens Toussaint and his wife, Abigail Toussaint, both 33, were in Haiti for a festival as well as visiting family.

The couple were reportedly on a tourist bus when the kidnappers came on and told the Americans to get off.

They were reportedly taken and held for ransom.

The kidnappers have already been paid $6,000 from the family, but now they want a reported $200,000 per person.

Their niece, Christie Desormes, explained, “They stopped the bus at a stop and then asked for Americans to get off the bus and their escorts off the bus, and then they took them.

“I’m still in a state of shock. It feels like it didn’t happen, but I know it did, especially since I saw them last month for my birthday.”

The State Department responded to the report, stating, “The U.S. Department of State and our embassies and consulates abroad have no greater priority than the safety and security of U.S. citizens overseas.

“We are aware of reports of two U.S. citizens missing in Haiti.

“When a U.S. citizen is missing, we work closely with local authorities as they carry out their search efforts, and we share information with families however we can.

“We have nothing further to share at this time.”

Biden better hope no harm comes to these people because if it does, he is going to have one hell of a sh**storm to deal with.
