Donald Trump is claiming the media is out to get him again.
There was recently as ABC News report that Trump may have misled his attorneys regarding the classified documents he had taken to Mar-a-Lago.
Trump immediately went off, calling the story fake news.
Fake News!
Some of Trump’s attorneys had assured the FBI and National Archives that all classified documents had been turned over before the well-publicized raid.
The ABC News story dug into that story, allegedly learning that Trump misled his attorneys on that front.
Trump’s office responded, “Shame on Fake News ABC for broadcasting ILLEGALLY LEAKED false allegations from a Never Trump, now former chief judge, against the Trump legal team.
“This disinformation is on par with their breathless Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, and ‘no-collusion’ Mueller speculation, all of which were totally disproven.
“The real story here, that Fake News ABC SHOULD be reporting on, is that prosecutors only attack lawyers when they have no case whatsoever.
“President Trump is the only leader fighting for the Constitution in order to protect the American people from being abused by a crooked system.”

The report from ABC News claimed that “sources told the outlet that a former federal judge wrote last week in a sealed filing that prosecutors presented ‘compelling preliminary evidence’ that Trump’ knowingly and deliberately misled his own attorneys about his retention of classified materials after leaving office.”
Now prosecutors working with Special Counsel are hoping to speak to Trump’s attorneys, bypassing attorney-client privilege, to prove that “Trump knowingly and deliberately misled his own attorneys about his retention of classified materials after leaving office.”
