One of the hot new weapons in modern warfare is the suicide drone.
These devices are loaded up with explosives, sent after a target, then dive in and take them out.
Ukraine just released footage of a drone in action, zeroing in on a Russian tank that thought it would be able to outrun it.

The video (click here to watch it on the New York Post) itself was pretty exciting to watch.
I know there have been videos out there on this, but it was the first time that I had watched one of these suicide drones in action.
The drone is seen scanning the area when it passes over tank that gets its interest.
The drone reverses course, then starts to descend at an elevated speed.
You can see the tank panicking, trying to outrun the drone, then, just as the drone gets within striking distance, the screen goes blank… a successful kill.
The Ukraine Security Service stated, “The Russians tried to escape but they weren’t very successful. And we will continue to destroy the invaders until complete victory.”
With the Russian Army’s supply of tanks becoming depleted, every loss stings.
A drone for a tank is a trade that Ukraine will make all day, especially since they are not paying for their weapons.
