White House Press Secretary Andrew Bates made a rather amusing mistake last week.
Bates retweeted a comment made by a former Daily Caller employee.
Perhaps he should have checked the name on the tweet before sending it back out.
Oops
Greg Price, the senior digital strategist at XStrategies LLC and a former Daily Caller social media coordinator, had recently changed the name of his Twitter account.
He zeroed in on a recent comment by Karine Jean-Pierre defending Buttigieg against all the attacks he has faced for not going to Ohio.
KJP had stated, “There’s been a lot of bad faith attacks on Secretary Buttigieg.
“If you remember Elaine Chao, she was the head of the Department of Transportation and when there were these types of chemical spills, nobody was calling for her to be fired.”
Bates retweeted the snippet, but he apparently did not notice the name of the account before doing so…

That “name” came from Joe Biden’s daughter’s journal, where she had written about her father joining her for showers at an age many of us would consider pedophilic behavior.
I would imagine at the very least, Bates has been called into the Oval Office for a good talking to.
