With the death of Trye Nichols, it is open season on police again.
Thankfully, one business owner is not allowing that to happen in his business, which is frequented by police officers in the area.
After a counter worker at Pizza Squared in San Francisco told some police officers they were not welcome, he was shown the door by ownership.
Flipping the Script
The police union reached out to the owner of the business after the cops were disrespected by the worker.
The owner stated, “When our shift manager told us about the incident after it happened, we expressly told him we didn’t share his views & that he was out of line.
“He was fired at the end of the day.”
The union thanked the owner for doing the right thing…
Today, a @pizzasquaredsf employee told several of our officers that they were not welcome in the restaurant. The SFPOA notified the owners of the restaurant of the shameful and hateful actions of one of their employees. We appreciate the owners' swift apology…(Tweet 1 of 2) pic.twitter.com/U5Kkk84meS

As noted above, officers have been coming to this restaurant for some time, never having an issue before.
Union President Tracy McCray stated, “We were pleased to receive an immediate response from the owners, including a sincere apology for their employee’s actions and a commitment to meet with the affected officers and make this unfortunate situation right.”
Enjoy the pizza, officers.
