Texas Governor Greg Abbott is staying quiet no longer, not that he has really been sitting on his hands.
Abbott had his inauguration, and he chose to use his speech to go after Biden and his administration for the border crisis.
Ever since Joe Biden has been in office, we have seen record numbers at the border.
This has resulted in Texas border cities getting stuffed to the gills, with many migrants living on the streets because holding facilities and shelters are full.
Call Out Biden
As a way to bring more attention to the crisis, Abbott started sending buses of migrants to sanctuary cities around the country.
He has sent about 5,000 migrants to New York City, which his already calling mercy.
Abbott stated, “As a result, more illegal immigrants crossed our border last year than any year in the history of the United States of America.
“In fact, over the past two years, more illegal immigrants crossed our border than the populations of Austin, El Paso and Houston combined.
“With the Biden administration missing in action, Texas is using every tool to protect our state.”
By the way, New York City is calling mercy because Adams had a deal with El Paso’s mayor to take migrants.
Of the 35,000 or so that have been sent to New York, only about 5,000 were courtesy of Abbott.
